Nature seems to be taking over a defunct SPRR line despite the clear warning to "Keep Off."

Southern Pacific Railroad

Sadly, the Southern Pacific Railroad no longer exists. It was a favorite subject of Bud's, however, and it's a pleasure to be able to remember the SPRR through his work. In this painting, 15 Minutes from Spofford, he managed to capture not only SPRR, but our beautiful fall colors. Spofford is just a short drive outside of Brackettville and is a town that wouldn't even exist if it hadn't been for the Southern Pacific Railroad.
